Taking
too much tackle? Fed up with heavy barrow loads or multiple trips to
the car?
The most
successful anglers are those who are ready and willing to make
changes and take advantage of any opportunities that arise. Often
this means being mobile which is difficult if you take everything
including the kitchen sink with you!
Systematically
work through every item of tackle and carefully consider whether you
really need it. How often do you use it? When was the last time you
did? Remove everything you're not using, even the smallest terminal
tackle bits. You'll be surprised at how much weight/space you can
save.
You may
need certain items such as spare leads or rig materials so keep a bucket of bits-and-pieces
concealed in the car/van. Don't carry litres and litres of water just take the minimum you'll need and again, keep an extra supply in the motor.
